Located in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood, Flo & Santos is a warm large exposed brick and red-boothed pub and eatery, with a beautiful spacious outside beer garden. Featuring “Tavern Style” pizza (the real Chicago style pizza), the Polish classics, pierogies, kielbasa, and potato pancakes, traditional Italian pastas, and unique items like our famous pork wings! We’re open every day at 11:00 a.m. Family-friendly and it gets a bit more “social” after 8 pm. There is no bad seat in the house when it comes to watching all of your favorite sporting events. Sit back and enjoy events on any of our seventeen flat screens throughout the restaurant and patio, including a huge big screen behind the bar and on the patio.
Lupe grew up in kitchens and began working in restaurants at the age of fifteen. She is a self-taught chef that enjoys exploring culinary flavor profiles. She began her culinary career at La Nottee, an upscale Italian restaurant in the western suburbs. She is the original Sous Chef that assisted in the development of the specialty pizza offerings at Flo and Santos, and continues to experiment with new ideas in our weekly specials.
With a mix of Italian and Polish food along with our tavern style pizza, we are sure you will find something you love! Be it the classics like the Polish Sampler, Chicken Parmesan, or our own concoctions like Ravirogi or our Combo sandwich, combining a little Italian and Polish in every bite!
We have a large, open patio that is spacious for families and groups! Socially distanced and heaters for the cold days! It's our belief any day is a good day for a beer in the sun with some friends!
Florence (Flo) was from Poland. Santo was from Italy. They were a real Chicago couple who met, married and raised a family on the south-side of Chicago. Flo and Santo's dinner table had the best of Italian and Polish dishes for the family to enjoy. Here at Flo & Santos, we honor that heritage and all the Polish and Italian immigrants who made Chicago what it is today.
